Winery Kosher history
In 2015, we were approached by a marketing entrepreneur from Israel who was looking for the healthful benefits of berries in an alcoholic beverage. After purchasing three of our wines at a US retail location, he was convinced that he needed our product in Israel. It took a year to work out the details, but our first shipment was delivered to Israel in 2016. Since then, our Israeli partner has featured our Blackberry, Blueberry, Cranberry and Raspberry wines at dozens of events, store demos and festivals.
Our first deliveries to Israel were not Kosher because we at the winery were daunted by the complexity of the requirements and cost of licensing. BUT our Israeli partner can be very convincing and we were able to comply with all the requirements to produce the exact same wines that are now certified Kosher by KSA (Kosher Supervision of America) in both the US and Israel. Kosher wines in the US include Blackberry, Blueberry, Cranberry, Raspberry, Passion Fruit and Pineapple.
